Martha's Vineyard Labor Day Weekend

I spent Labor Day Weekend on Martha's Vineyard. I have not been there in years, the place is just as beautiful as I remembered. The Island is so peaceful I could stay there forever...if they work on the wifi lol. Please take a minute and check out some of the images i captured on my trip.

Coming into Oak Bluffs from South Beach I stopped at the "Jaws" Bridge In Edgartown..famous from the movie. But know it is famous for people jumping off into the ocean. It was some much fun to watch i had to take a couple of jumps. As you can plainly see in the first image the sign clearly says no jumping...but that didn't stop anybody lol!

Washington Dc National zoo

Last week I spent an afternoon at the National Zoo here in DC. If you are ever in the area it is worth taking the time to check it out. The Zoo is right on the Metro Line and best of all it is free admission (gotta love Smithsonian). In these photos I was trying to capture as natural an image as possible, free of bars and cages. I hope you enjoy these images and I look forward to any feedback. Thanks for the support.

The Preakness 2015

Last weekend I was afforded the opportunity to shoot the 140th running of the Preakness in Baltimore MD. What a great event, the food, the drink and the entertainment was all outstanding (and free lol). I never knew how exciting horse racing could be, this will definitely not be my last race. Please take some time to check out some of the images I captured and let me know what you think. Thank you for stopping by.

Right in the middle of the historic horse race was a Childish Gambino concert. The last thing I expected at a triple crown race is a Hip Hop concert lol. The show was electric Childish Gambino is a expressive dude and he makes for some great images. Please take a look at some of what I captured at his performance. I hope you enjoy.

Mexico 2015

I had a great time in Cancun last week. The resort was beautiful, relaxing and fun. the food, drink and company all great. I did take a break from the resort life and made a trip inland to Yucatan, Mexico. The Mayan culture is intriguing, The pyramid El Castillo (one of the 7 world wonders) at Chichen Itza was mind blowing. The advanced structure, mathematics and detailed planning from 600 A.D is beyond comprehension. I never believed in aliens....but wow. Below please find some of the images from my trip. I hope you enjoy them as much as i enjoyed capturing them.

Paris...The City of Lights - Part 3

While Everyone goes to paris to see the Eiffel Tower...the Tower is actually the best place to see Paris from and what better time to capture the City of Lights but at night. the first image I shared below is of "Jardins du Trocadero" with a great view if the modern Paris skyline in back. I love the mix of old and new all around Paris. The second image is of the "iconic Arc De Triomphe", I think it stands so majestic, I really fell in love with this entire city.  The third image is the view down the River Seine. I really enjoyed my trip to the top of the Tower, I waited long and froze my everything off....but the view was well worth it.

When I visit a new city I think the most fun i have is just getting lost in the culture. I love to wonder around and capture random images some I know and set out to shoot, Like the world famous Moulun Rougeand others just happen and I am lucky enough to capture. I thought I would share some of that randomness with you...I hope you enjoy.

paris...city of lights - part 2

One of the places I found the most interesting  in Paris was the Louvre Museum. It is crazy to be surrounded by so much art and culture. From iconic pieces like Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo to actual Egyptian antiquities, around every corner I was blown away. I have shared some of the images that I found intriguing in and around the Louvre. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them.

timelapse / hyperlapse

Last month I took a timelapse which consists of approximately 500 photos of a trip to Reagan National airport in Washington DC driving and by way of the metro. I only got kicked out of the Metro two times for photographing without a permit.....it was a good day. Please check out the video that almost got me banned from riding the Metro. I hope you enjoy it!
